Sunday 29th June a.m.
A changeable morning between full cloud cover to sunny spells but warm with a start temperature of 15°C. There were plenty Whitethroats around that were busy feeding young and no chance of a picture, the Sand Martins were in their usual spot with a few Lapwings nearby. A Song Thrush was belting out a tune and c35 LBB Gulls briefly circled overhead and a Kestrel made an appearance. There were loads of Butterflies flitting about including Red Admiral & Small Tortoiseshell, it was also good to hear a Garden Warbler which eventually showed for a couple of pictures. The the best was saved to the last with a Barn Owl hunting for food.
