Tuesday 15th August a.m.
At last a sunny morning with a temperature of 14°C, so off I went to Denholme Clough hoping to find a few migrants passing through. I was pleased to see two or three Redstarts and a Spotted Flycatcher, in addition I saw Blackcaps, Willow Warblers and overhead a Buzzard and Red Kite. Others seen were Canadas, Grey Heron, Pheasant, Goldfinch, Jay, Chaffinch and Swallow.
