A cold frosty start this morning with a temperature of just 1.5°C when we set off taking the dog
for a long walk the same route as earlier this week. The sun was out though and it quickly began
to warm up. We saw many birds this morning getting distant views of most of them including
Chiffchaff, Chaffinch, Dunnock, GSW, Grey Heron, Goldfinch, Kestrel, LT Tits, Pheasant, Pied
Wagtail and Wren. Some of the more common species we were able to get snaps of, we did see
a couple of male Pheasant squaring up to each other and feathers began to fly as they fought over
territory.
