A cloudy chilly start to the day with a temperature of 3.5°C on our arrival at Yeadon
Tarn which soon brightened up with the sun breaking through.A great selection of birds
this morning with a count of 19 Goosanders being our highest ever at a single location.
Also on view were Cormorants,Great Crested Grebes,Mute Swans,Grey Herons and
Tufted Ducks. We were also pleased to see the return of a couple of Pochards and always
good to see the colourful Drake Mandarin Duck which was very obliging and posed for
several photos.
