Grey skies this morning with a temperature of 5° as I walked on to Hewenden Reservoir where the highlight was a singing Blackcap. A Kestrel was on an overhead wire and two Oystercatchers were at the side of the Reservoir, a selection of Gulls were on the water and Chiffchaff and Willow Warblers were singing. Others included Song Thrush, Swallow, Blackbird, Canadas and Robin.
