Sunday 28th January a.m.
A sunny morning in Rodley with a temperature of 5°C as I headed to the hide overlooking the lake where I saw my first Kingfisher of the year. As I headed for the bird feeding area a Song Thrush was singing and then overhead I heard Geese as a couple of skiens of Pinkies flew over, c150 birds, which was a great sight. Nearing the hide at the top of the Reserve a Pied Wagtail was on a large pile of manure. In the hide a Reed Bunting, Bullfinch and Blue Tit were seen.
