Sunday 23rd June a.m.
Good sunny morning at Rodley with a temperature of 18°C, plenty of birds to see here and also Damselflies were on show. A pair of Mute Swans had five Cygnets, good to see a Little Ringed Plover here with Lapwings, Oystercatchers and Little Egret. A look in to the River Aire produced three Grey Wagtails with male & female Branded Demoiselle Damselflies flying around the grassland. Some of the other birds included Gadwall, Teal, Cormorant, Grey Heron, Sand Martin, Gt Crested Grebe, Bullfinch and Chiffchaff.
