Monday 20th January a.m.
A poor morning with full cloud cover and spells of light rain the temperature was 2°C but plenty of birds at Yeadon Tarn. There was a good count of 25 Mute Swans, Tufteds, Goosanders, Cormorants, Moorhen, Canadas, Greylag & Coots.
On my way home I went via Knotford Nook where there are two Lakes but viewing is very restricted. Even with poor viewing I saw Gadwall, Goldeneye, Gt Crested Grebe, Tufteds, Cormorants, Wigeon, Mute Swan and loads of Coots, also in a nearby field were Fieldfare and Redwing.
