Monday 28th April a.m.
Some sunny spells again but cloudier than expected at 13°C as I walked through Denholme Clough seeing Chiffchaff, Willow Warbler, Whitethroat & Mistle Thrush. When I reached Doe Park Reservoir I was surprised how low it was with loads of shore exposed but only a single Common Sandpiper in the mud. Over the Res there were Sand Martins, Cormorant, Curlew and a Lapwing was over a nearby field.
