Monday 25th May a.m.
An early walk on the Moor to try and beat the heat from the sun starting at 15°C and still on the rise at 23°C as I finished my walk. Garden Warblers, Blackcap, Whitethroat, Willow Warbler and Chiffchaff were all seen singing. Curlews were flying around a couple briefly landing before heading off, a pair of Oystercatchers had two young chicks. Others seen were Red-legged Partridge, Skylark, Lapwing & Jay.
