Sunday 21st June a.m.
A lovely sunny morning starting off at 16°C, I was greeted by the sound of a Skylark as I got out of the car. There were plenty birds still up singing including Blackcap, Chiffchaff, Garden Warbler, Willow Warbler, Whitethroat, Blackbird & Wren. In the quarry area a couple of Stock Doves were seen, others here were Lapwing, Oystercatcher, House Martin & Swallow. There was a Stonechat seen and the usual Meadow Pipits, also Butterflies were fluttering around including Red Admiral & Painted Lady.
