Saturday 16th March a.m.
A sunny morning after overnight frost with a start temperature of 2°C, a good count of 22 Oystercatchers and four Redshank. Plenty other birds around including Canadas, Lapwing, Curlew, Pheasant, Cormorant & Grey Wagtail.
I came via Trough Lane on the lookout for early returning Wheater to no avail but I was rewarded with a pair of Stonechat.
