North Cave Wetlands

 Sunday 11th May a.m.

The sun keeps shining with the temperature up to 13°C on my arrival at this site I've not been to for a few years.  There has been some development of the site with new Lakes, one held a Whooper Swan, the other Avocets some with chicks and a LRP.  A good variety of birds were seen as I walked round this large Reserve including Common Tern, Sedge Warber, Reed Warbler, Whitethroat, Reed Bunting, Greenshank, GC Grebe, Little Grebe, Shoveler, Shelduck, Oystercatcher, Lapwing, Gadwall and Sand Martin.
