A gentle stroll round Redcar Tarn this morning for a bit of birding after getting back from
my holiday yesterday. At the Tarn it started off cloudy with a temperature of 11.5°C but the
sun soon broke through warming things up by a few degrees. There were a couple of Coots
with young broods of chicks and a couple with single older chicks.Over head were Swifts,
Swallows and House Martins, nothing unusual but good to see the birds.
