We decided to do some more birding this afternoon stopping off on the outskirts
of Queensbury on our way to Harold Park.We had hoped to see the Snipe that were
here yesterday but after starting well with 53 Lapwing & c25 Starling a long walk
round the nearby fields proved fruitless. When we got back to the car it was good to
bump into Brian also doing some afternoon birding,he confirmed the Snipe had moved
on so we headed for Harold Park.
Here we saw Canadas,Black Swan,Mute Swan,BH Gulls,Mallards,Coots.Moorhen,
Gt C.Grebe & Tufted Duck.
We then moved quickly to Park Dam where we saw Canadas,Mallards,Coots,Moorhen,
Gt C.Grebe & Tufted Ducks.
