A slow thaw was setting in at Redcar Tarn this afternoon and the sun even made an appearance
the temperature up to the dizzy heights of 6°C.There is an ever present Domesticated Greylag
Goose at the Tarn but today it was joined by another 20 and there was a further 17 in the field
lower down, I've not seen them here before. The Canadas had returned as had a few Tufted Ducks
and there were large numbers of Gulls including a LBB, also Pied Wagtail and Lapwings.
