A bright morning with some sunny spells on Harden Moor with a temperature of 13°C where it was good to hear and see a Cuckoo still present flying around and later perched for a picture.  Also good to hear Chiffchaff and a Garden Warbler in full song which I also saw. Redcar Tarn

Thursday 2nd June a.m.

A sunny morning with a temperature of 9°C with 25 Swifts feeding over a nearby field and 15 House Martins collecting mud for their nest building. A pair of Oystercatchers were busy feeding their chicks, I spotted two chicks through the grass, a couple of Canadas had some growing goslings. On the water their were some Mallards with chicks and a Terrapin was basking on a rock.
