Sunday 19th January a.m.
A cold morning at -1°C with full cloud cover but dry as I headed for Hewenden Reservoir where there was a good count of 18 Cormorants. The three Goldeneye kept their distance on the far side of the Reservoir with a couple of Teal & several Mallards. There were c50 Canadas moving around the surrounding fields and having a brief spell on the Reservoir. Others seen were Tufteds, Moorhen, BH, Common, Herring & LBB Gulls, Pheasant, Wren & Collard Dove.
