 Friday 21st August a.m.

A sunny morning with a temperature of 12°C, on the walk up to the res I saw Red-legged Partridge, Red Grouse, Swallow & Meadow Pipit.  The res held a large number of Gulls, my estimates are c400 BH Gulls, c400 LBB Gulls & c50 Herring Gulls.  Also on the water were Tufteds & Mallards, walking back a couple of Wheatear added some interest & a few Goldfinch.
