A visit up to Redcar Tarn this afternoon in sunny conditions and a temperature
of 13°C.There was plenty to see around the Tarn and a lot of birds on the water
with the usual species present. There were still five Goosander and a large number
of Black Headed Gulls. In the next field was the Lapwing flock and our trip to Old
Moor seems to have paid off with us better able to ID 15 Golden Plover in the flock.
Also among the flock were Pigeons,Thrushes and Starlings and some Canadas in the
same field.
