Saturday 6th February a.m.
A dull morning with a temperature of 4°C as we made our way to the lake at Lister Park which held good numbers of the usual water birds.Good to see four
Goosander and ten
Greylags which are less frequent visitors to the park. After a walk round the lake we headed up to the stream which has a wooded area, by now it had begun to rain which was a shame because we found some good birds here.A
Grey Wagtail was in the steam with other birds nearby, then we spotted a
Treecreeper, which to snap what a dilemma or should we put the camera back in its case altogether as the rain was getting heavier. The result was a poor snap of each in the deteriorating conditions, then we saw
Siskin feeding on the ground but the camera was back in the dry by now & it was time for us to do the same as we headed off for the car.
