Wednesday 6th May a.m.
A sunny morning with a temperature of 6°C, the usual
Willow Warblers and
Whitethroats were enjoying the morning sunshine, they tend to get high in a tree giving a good chance to get a picture. When I heard the tuneful song of a Garden Warbler the first task was to try and locate it hopefully to the right tree. The next task is to try and see it in the tree which is generally difficult as they sing from lower down amongst the branches and frequently at the shady side. This morning I spotted a
Garden Warbler but then you need patience and luck to see if you can get into a position to take a picture, not easy for me, but I was rewarded today with a few pictures.
Other birds seen were
Skylark, Swift, Goldfinch, Chaffinch, Lapwing and
LT Tit.
