Wednesday 17th March p.m.
A lovely sunny afternoon at Leeshaw with a temperature of 11°C but feeling much warmer with no wind blowing and as I walked along the track there were plenty birds on view. Two Redshanks were great to see and hear though with Starlings about you need to be aware that they can mimic other birds calling. A good number of Gulls containing c50 BH, c50 LBB, 10 Herring and a couple of Commons plus a good count of 17 Oystercatchers. A couple of Curlew were seen, the Little Owl was in its usual spot and there were c 30 Lapwings and two Grey Wagtails were seen. Others included Cormorant, Canadas, Greylags and Dunnock.
