Monday 22nd May a.m.
A fine sunny start to the day with a temperature of 12°C as I walked from home past Hewenden Reservoir and on to Doe Park Reservoir. Here I saw a Grey Wagtail and a Common Sandpiper flew to the top end of the Reservoir where I later caught up with it. Others were Chiffchaff, Whitethroat, Willow Warbler, Swallow, Sand Martin and Robin.
