Sunday 1st December p.m.
With the sun breaking through and a mild temperature of 12°C I went for a walk on to Hewenden Reservoir where there were three Goldeneye. A charm of Goldfinch passed over and flew in to a distant tree, on the Reservoir there were Teal, Cormorant, Tufteds & a Mute Swan. At the side of the Reservoir there were fifteen Moorhen & several Canadas, others were Blue Tit, Jackdaw, BH Gull, Herring Gull and on my way home the rare treat of a Stonechat, which landed on several fence posts and was a struggle for the camera to focus on.
