Thursday 2nd April a.m.
A fine sunny morning with a temperature of 5°C but with no wind feeling very mild, the first bird seen was a Redshank on the dam wall. This was soon joined by a couple of Oystercatchers which were also seen in the surrounding fields. A Wren was singing and a Curlew flew to the edge of the res, plenty Lapwings around, others were Pied Wagtail, Grey Wagtail, Canadas & Greylags.
