Harold Park & Park Dam

Saturday 30th May a.m.

A bright sunny morning starting off at 16 °C, heading towards the Lake Canadas were grazing with a couple of broods of goslings.  There were Coots on nests & others were on the water feeding their chicks, a LBB Gull was keeping a watchful eye from the island.  It was good to see a Great Crested Grebe, a Grey Wagtail landed on a fence, others were Moorhen, Mute Swan & Tufteds.

Over the road at Park Dam there were ten Mute Swans, Grey Wagtail, Mallards with chicks, G.C.Grebe, Coots, Sand Martin, Swallow & Swifts.
