Sunday 14th June a.m.
A sunny morning with a temperature of 13°C, the first bird I saw as I stepped out of the car was a Skylark singing as it soared high in the sky. The second bird was a Cuckoo calling which was heard often during my walk but was not seen. There were several Whitethroats & Willow Warblers singing and a Garden Warbler posed for a couple of pictures. As I walked further over the Moor I heard a Snipe drumming then as I looked up it was flying round me before going down in to cover, don't think I've seen one here before. A Kestrel was seen hovering above, others were Reed Bunting, Linnet, Meadow Pipit & Goldfinch.
