Friday 2nd October a.m.
There were threatening dark clouds as I set off on a walk this morning with a blustery wind and a temperature of 14°C. A quiet walk to start but a Great Spotted Woodpecker landing in a tree in front of me got things going. A couple of Mistle Thrushes and a Kestrel kept me interested before adding Cormorant, Tufted, Grey Heron, Moorhen, Robin, Jay, Starling & Goldfinch.
