Redcar Tarn

Saturday 8th November a.m.
After my earlier visit to Stocksbridge NR I decided to try my luck high above Keighley at Redcar Tarn, where the temperature was 8°C but now dark clouds were looming.A high number of birds here with Lapwings in a nearby field & moving to the island & some near the car park area.BH Gulls & Mallards were also here in abundance & good to see nine Goosanders, others included LBB Gull,Canadas,Pied Wagtail,Common Gull & Tufted Duck. The weather soon closed in & drizzle began to fall which brought a good mornings birding to an end.
