Saturday 8th November a.m.
A bright start to the day with a temperature of 7°C on arrival at the BOG members reserve at Stocksbridge in Keighley.Danny was having a lie in after his trip to Richmond in North Yorkshire
with his college so I was on my own.The first bird I saw from the hide was a
Grey Wagtail, a good start, then in a tree in front of the hide was a bird which needed the bins to ID, it was a
Sparrowhawk. A
Grey Heron flew across the water & landed on the far bank & then did some fishing.Others seen included
Blue,Great & Coal Tits,BH Gull,Mallard,Moorhen,Dunnock & Robin. N.P.
