Cullingworth & Hewenden Reservoir

Sunday 5th May a.m.
A chilly morning with some bright spells and a start temperature of 5°C as I made my way to Hewenden Reservoir where it was good to get my first Swift of the year. The water was quiet with just a Cormorant, Canadas and Mallards, a few Willow Warblers were seen but proved elusive when trying to get a decent picture.Good to see a GSW which was too quick for the camera, others seen were Swallow, Pied Wagtail, Pheasant, Mistle Thrush, Goldfinch and Bullfinch.
