Saturday 18th May a.m.
A dull overcast morning but mild with no wind and a temperature of 10°C, where the
Sand Martins were busy and there was distant
Oystercatcher and Red-legged Partridge. It was good to hear the
Cuckoo again and this time managed to see it but I could only get a record shot through the trees.Plenty birds were up singing including
Skylark, Whitethroat, Willow Warbler, Bullfinch, Robin and
Wren. Others seen were
LBB Gull, Lapwing, Starling and
Goldfinch.
