Saturday 22nd February a.m.
A bright sunny morning with a very strong blustery wind and a temperature of 8°C up at Redcar Tarn where it was good to see two returning
Curlew and three
Oystercatchers. I finally saw the
Iceland Gull which is a lifer for me and although difficult to stand up I managed a couple of record pictures.
Others here were
Canadas, Greylags, Tufteds, Lapwings, BH, Common, Herring and
LBB Gulls.
