Saturday 20th June a.m.
A bright sunny morning at Harold Park with a temperature of 13°C where I stared off with a couple of
Grey Wagtails enjoying the sunshine. On the main lake there were just a few
Mallards, Coots, Moorhen and
Tufteds, passing through were a
LBB Gull and
BH Gull with a couple of distant
Swifts.
Higher up in the park on the small Lake there was a pair of
Mute Swans with two Cygnets, a
Canada Goose came in for some rough treatment from them, it needed a helping hand to get out of the lake. It then rejoined the other c30 Canadas on the grass and they all made their way to the main lake, they had six goslings with them. Others seen were
Collared Dove and
House Sparrow.
