Sunday 21st February a.m.
A good walk along the track next to Leeshaw Reservoir with cloudy skies but mild at 7°C seeing three Oystercatchers and two Curlew. There were c100 BH Gulls and c20 Herring Gulls, Greylags and Canadas were present too. A flog of c50 Lapwings stayed on the nearside banking at the top end of the reservoir for much of the time occasionally taking flight with a few briefly landing on the dam banking. Three Cormorants were seen, Pheasants were in surrounding fields as were three Meadow Pipits and a Dipper and Grey Wagtail were in the overflow steps.
