Saturday 26th February a.m.
A chilly start with an overnight frost but up to 4°C as the sun came up and I headed for Hewenden Reservoir seeing a flock of c25 Redwings, a GSW, Collared Dove, Starlings, Greenfinch, Chaffinch, Goldfinch and Song Thrush on the way. The reservoir held c25 Canadas, Goldeneye, Greylags, Tufteds, Cormorant, Teal and three Goosanders. Others seen were Lapwing, Nuthatch, Blue Tit, Great Tit, LT Tit and Jackdaw.
