Saturday 5th February a.m.
A dull cloudy morning with a temperature of 4°C at St Ives near Bingley where I made my way to the Coppice Pond. Here were nine Mute Swans, ten Tufteds and a mixture of BH Gulls, Mallards, Moorhen and a Common Gull. I went to the bird feeding area where I got a GSW straight away with visits from, Blue Tit, Coal Tit, LT Tit, Gt Tit, Nuthatch, Jay, Robin and Dunnock. Plenty Squirrel in this area too, a walk also took me to where some Snowdrops were starting to flower, always a good sign of early spring.
