Sunday 17th April a.m.
A sunny morning with a temperature of 9°C as I walked round the Tarn with 27 Mute Swans on the water with Tufteds , Coots and Moorhen. Willow Warblers and Chiffchaffs were singing, Reed Bunting were seen & House Sparrows were chirping in the bushes.
A few miles away at Adel Dam a Red Kite flew over as did a couple of Grey Herons and a pair of Mandarins gave excellent views. Others were Little Grebe, Nuthatch, Greylag and Wren.
