Friday 6th May a.m.
A cloudy morning at Leeshaw with a temperature of 13°C where on the water there were Greylags with at least four sets of Goslings & Canadas in the surrounding fields. A couple of Common Sandpipers were moving around, others were Swallow, Lapwing, Linnet, Mipit, Tufteds, Oystercatcher and Redshank plus a Cuckoo calling in the distance.
I then moved up the road to another local reservoir where there were two more Common Sandpipers, Redshank and Dunlin. A pair of Canadas were out on the water with a brood of Goslings, others were Wheatear, Red-legged Partridge, Swallow, Pied Wagtail and Mipit.
