Friday 26th January p.m.
A windy but sunny afternoon up at the Tarn with a temperature of 6°C but a rewarding visit with my first Waxwing for many years. There was just a solitary bird in the tree, also still present were the Pintail and Wigeon. The usual species were also here with good numbers of Canadas, Herring Gulls, LBB Gulls, BH Gulls, others were Common Gull, Pied Wagtail, Tufteds and Chaffinch.
