Friday 3rd July a.m.
A cloudy morning with a temperature of 15°C, Lapwing had young chick's in the surrounding fields and more were at the waters edge. A couple of Curlews were flying around as were a couple of Oystercatchers. A Pied Wagtail was resting on a wall and there were good numbers of Canadas & Greylags, some on the water and others were on the exposed shore. A Kestrel briefly hovered overhead and a party of House Sparrows passed through, others were Rook, Starling & Meadow Pipit.
