Tuesday 1st September a.m.
A sunny morning with a temperature of 13°C and a stong blustery wind, the Gull numbers were down today. There were c50 LBB Gulls, 10 Herring Gulls & c50 BH Gulls it was also good to see seven Goosanders. There were also a dozen Lapings on the banking of the Reservoir with a couple of Meadow Pipits & a Pied Wagtail nearby. On the wall of the res was a Red Grouse, walking back I added a Red-legged Partridge. In the distance a couple of Buzzards seemed to be in a brief fight.
