Redcar Tarn

 Wednesday 14th October a.m.

A bright sunny morning with a temperature of 10°C which meant if felt chilly as I walked around the Tarn.  Many birds on show again with Canadas & Lapwings in the surrounding fields.  On the water a male Wigeon has returned plus a male Pintail & two females, there were ten Teal including a male.  There were seven Goosanders plus Greylags, Coots, Moorhen, Tufted & Mallards.  A good number of Gulls including BH, Herring & LBB Gull and also a large Yellow- legged Gull.  Others seen were Grey Heron, Pied Wagtail, Rook & Jackdaw.
