An early visit this morning before the predicted rain arrived.It was reasonable on the moor
with some hazy sunshine but a strongish breeze & a temperature of 11°C.It was good to catch
up with the Little Owl & in the same location we had a flypast from the Cuckoo.Other birds seen
were Song & Mistle Thrush,Sand Martin,Willow Warbler,Whitethroat,Goldfinch & Linnet.There
were also a few Robins about some just young ones not so much bird song probably a combination
of the weather conditions & busy at their nests.
