Sunday 13th March a.m.
Our plans for an early start this morning were put paid to when we woke up to thick fog,so it was later in the morning that we made our way up to Harden Moor for the first time this year. When we arrived the sun was breaking through and the temperature was 10°C,there were mostly common species on show with
Robins,Blackbirds,Chaffinch,Dunnock & Wren all singing. We had a fly past from a couple of
Curlew but this site hopefully will spring into life in a few of weeks as the migrants return.
