Saturday 19th November a.m.
I had a quick visit up to Redcar Tarn where there was a covering of snow and it was feeling cold at 2°C.There were good numbers of
Lapwings and
Gulls with the usual
Canadas,Mallards,Tufted Duck,Moorhen &
Coots.At the top end
Goldfinch,Chaffinch and
Dunnock were seen and there was a
Muscovy on one of the benches, back at the car a
Pied Wagtail made a brief appearance. A quick scan around then led me to a
Kestrel on Tarn Lane which was on top of a pole and luckily stopped long enough for a couple of pictures.
