Saturday 6th April a.m
A foggy morning so a later start than usual as I made my first visit of the year to Harden Moor where the sun was out with a temperature of 5°C.This proved a wise choice with two
Little Owls on their usual walls then a
Pheasant, Lapwings were displaying and two
Skylarks singing.A look in their usual spot brought me a male and female
Wheatear and nearby eight
Sand Martins were checking out their usual spot as were four
Oystercatchers. Others included
Grey Heron flying over,
Blackbird, Chaffinch, Goldfinch,
Mipit and
Robin.
