A bright crisp morning with an overnight frost giving a temperature of 0°C at Redcar Tarn, where the number of birds was less than recent visits.Skylark was the bird of the morning with them up singing and also briefly posing on a wall for me as did a Pied Wagtail. There were two Oystercatchers in a distant field and the usual Gulls, plus Tufteds, Greylags and Rook.
