Redcar Tarn & Local Reservoir

Monday 28th October p.m.
Good to have another bright day with some sunshine which I made use of by visiting Redcar Tarn where there was a temperature of 7°C.Here there were 30 Greylags, c50 Canadas, c50 Lapwings circling overhead along with the other usual species.Just one Goosander was present which was difficult to get near and was diving regularly looking for food.
I followed on from here paying a quick visit to a local reservoir where I was rewarded with a Buzzard overhead which was briefly joined by another Buzzard. There were several Grouse nearby and on the water were a few Canadas, Greylags, Mallards, BH, Herring and LBB Gulls.
